Recorded two days after watching George Sluizer's The Vanishing (...the Dutch 1988 version [...not Sluizer's Kiefer-S.1993 U.S. remake]). Pretty much all turntable lock-groove trancers from one cut-up record (physically collaged/woven). 1/3rd of a record inherited from my dad (...whom also has some "vanishing qualities") affixed into a groove-less record-blank. ...get it? 2/3rds of the record is gone. Completely vanished(!); truthfully too, now, because I don't know where I put its other pieces. The record is rather positive in tone & mood; the film is not (not by a long shot). Starts with some ekphrastic film-criticism/analysis, then gets down to other business.
